Welcome to Day 3 of Fit, Fyne and Fabulous’ 12 days of FITmas!!
Let us introduce you to the gorgeous Garnett McNeil! Garnett is the mother of a beautiful pre-teen daughter, the wife of a hardworking IT professional, while she; herself, is a successful Accountant. When she is not putting her left brain to work; crunching numbers for the “Firm”, G is using the creative juices of her right brain to make brides beautiful with her gift of makeup artistry!! Yes, our girl is VERSATILE, to say the least!
Well, let’s learn a bit more about G’s fitness journey, shall we?
How many pounds and inches have you lost since joining Fit, Fyne and Fabulous?
8 pounds and 16 inches (approximately)
Nicole is a fellow coach and I saw what she was doing with her group and asked if I could shadow her because she is so AWESOME!!!
How did Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous help you get closer to reaching your fitness goals?
It made me more accountable because Nicole threw me right into leading challenge groups. And you have to lead by example. Plus all of the ladies in the group bring so much excitement and motivation.
Yes. The energy and just pure goodness in the group makes you feel welcome and like you can achieve your goals. Plus the coaches are like no other.
I have been able to fit into sizes I haven’t seen for a very long time. Some even smaller than I was on my wedding day. Plus I am finally back into the 160s club.
Looking at everyone posting their sparkle pictures motivates me on days where I don’t want to push play. Also the encouraging words from the other coaches every morning is the highlight of my day. Everything comes from the heart.
You can’t beat spending up front money on a program and shakes versus paying a monthly fee to a gym that you may not even use. And personal trainers are expensive. I used to have one. But my new personal trainers are my fellow coaches and of course our celebrity trainers. You get more bang for your buck getting FREE virtual training and working out at home.
I have learned that I was limiting myself. I am so much stronger than I thought mentally and physically. And truth be told the ladies in this group have helped me find my way spiritually.
This process is not a sprint, but a marathon. Make sure your short term expectations are in check. If they aren’t you could be setting yourself up for failure. Also your diet is very important. You can workout until you are blue in the face, but if what you are eating isn’t good for you, it will all be for nothing.
