By January 19, 2016Recipes

Ohhhhh weeeee diva! This non-carb spaghetti cheat is one of my favorites!! All veggies and protein, and I don’t miss the carbs??  Say whaaaaat!?!

So what do you need to get started??  Let’s Go, sis!!

YOU WILL NEED:
Zucchini
Veggetti Tool
Your Fav Veggies
(I used 2 cups of mushrooms, 1 red pepper, 1 orange pepper, 1 onion & spinach)
Turkey Ground
No Sugar Added Tomato Sauce
Olive Oil
Your fav low sodium Spice
(Try my fav!!!! Flavor God Seasonings from www.flavorgod.com)
Sauce pan

1. Heat 1 Tbsp of Olive oil in your sauce pan. Once hot, add you favorite veggies!! I love to add fresh veggies, especially mushrooms! Sauté veggies, and as the veggies begin to soften, add your Tomato sauce to the pan, and allow your veggie sauce to simmer. Remove  from heat, add to a bowl, sit to the side.  BOOM!  Veggie sauce is done!

2. Season the turkey ground with your favorite seasoning! I absolutely, hands down love Flavor God seasonings. It certainly puts Mrs. Dash to shame!!! For this recipe, I flavored my turkey ground with the Pink Himalayan Salt & Black Peppercorn FlavorGod spice!12562887_10208528446269017_1573701470_o

That’s it!!! It’s time to dive in!!!  Your Fabulous Zoodles with Meat Sauce are ready!!!  You can leave off the meat to make it a vegan meal!  You can also swap the turkey for chicken ground, or even swap out the turkey for sautéed garlic shrimp YUMMMM!!

Let me start by saying I’m really picky with my food, but I’m willing to come out of my box. As I was making this, I was like I don’t know about this. Well, let me tell you – I loved everything about my Zoodles and Meat Sauce. This is coming from someone who was known to say “I don’t like zucchini” BUT this has totally changed! I encourage you to try this recipe!

This is one of my favorite dishes. Quick and easy to prepare and it’s so delicious. I have also substituted the ground turkey for ground mushrooms; either way it is so good.

This was delicious. Zoodlez held up well even when I heated them up in the microwave. Added a couple of dashes of my Louisiana hot sauce and it was yummy!!!

  • Felicia Jones says:

This dish was awesome! It was light and flavorful. I thought it would be alright but it was delicious.

I made this with ground chicken. Used crushed tomatoes. Added basil and parsley to the sauce but otherwise used the recipe above. Served over zoodles and it was really yummy!

  • Monica says:

This is delicious and very filling. I used canned diced tomatoes instead of sauce, which made a thinner, almost soup-like sauce.

I followed FFF recipe to the point! Did exactly what you suggested when it came to the sauce; chose all of my favorite veggies: green, red, & yellow diced peppers, sliced mushrooms, & chopped yellow onion, used organic tomato sauce. Seasoned meat veggies and zoodles with pink Himalayan salt, pepper, garlic powder, & dried basil. Browned ground turkey, and sauteed zoodles (separately) in tbs coconut oil. Layered individual containers just as you suggested; zoodles first, followed by sauce with ground turkey on the top… Scrumptious!!! 😋
