CREATE LARGE CHUNKS OF TIME


Most of the really important work you do requires large chunks for unbroken time to complete.  Your ability to carve out and us these blocks of high-value, highly productive time is central to your ability to make a significant contribution to your work and to your life!

 1: SCHEDULE BLOCKS OF TIME
Plan your day in advance, and schedule a fixed time period for a particular task!  Make appointments with YOURSELF!

 2: USE A TIME PLANNER
Use a time planner, broken down by day, hour and minute!  It can be one of the most POWERFUL personal productivity tools of all.  It allows you to see where you can consolidate and create blocks of time for concentrated work.

 3: MAKE EVERY MINUTE COUNT
Think about your travel time in the car, bus, train or on a plane. How can use that time to be productive against your goals?  Make every minute of your day COUNT!

    Time-blocking is helpful for completion of goals,especially large projects. I have friends that time block for grocery shopping, time with family, concerts, seminars, etc. I’m not that advanced but I do time block. I have a planner(paper); really don’t care for the computer based. I don’t want to be that attached to my phone.
